Chugach Compost provides food waste collection services for residences and businesses in the Anchorage Bowl. We offer a curbside service so you have an accessible alternative to using the landfill.

Alaska soils are relatively young, having been recently glaciated the organic layer has had less time to develop. Anchorage will benefit from putting our food waste to work.

 

I currently operate May through October. With enough interest, we aspire to provide year-round service in the future.​
